What inspired you to become an educator/choose your
profession?
I was inspired to become a teacher from my High
School Geometry teacher Mrs. Hobbs. She made me
enjoy math.

What is one fun fact about yourself that students or
colleagues might not know?
I met my wife Tracy Green (now Brown) on my first
day of Kindergarten in 1970

What are your hobbies or interests outside of school?
I enjoy travel, Fishing, and boating.

Do you have a favorite quote or motto that inspires
you?
One of the greatest things in life is that no one has
the authority to tell you what you want to be. You're
the one who'll decide what you want to be.
